Geological Sites
Due to time constraints and logistics, we will have to visit the uppermost (structurally higher) part of the cross-section first. From here, we will venture below the pluton to examine migmatites, granite sheets, complex hybrid zones and mafic bodies which have formed at the base of the pluton. On Day 2, we will start at the stratigraphically lowest point (the WWGC) and work our way up-section toward the base of the Pericoe pluton.
